Georgia Wildlife Federation Hunting, Fishing & Outdoor Shows!
Frequently Asked Questions

What is a GWF Hunting, Fishing & Outdoor Show?

The Georgia Wildlife Federation produces three trademarked hunting and fishing shows, in two locations.  The oldest is the Buckarama, which opened in 1983 and has been held every year since that time.  The Buckarama features deer hunting products and equipment, hunting guides and outfitters, the GWF Deer Head Scoring Competition, and other shooting sports activities and products. The Great Outdoors Show features products and events keyed to anglers, turkey hunters and other outdoor enthusiasts.  There is also a diverse mix of other sportsmen’s paraphernalia at all of the GWF shows, with activities and items of interest to any sportsman.

When are the GWF Hunting, Fishing & Outdoor Shows?

Our winter show, the Georgia Wildlife Federation's Great Outdoor Show, is held in February. The Buckaramas occur in August, just prior to the beginning of deer hunting season in Georgia.

Is electricity included in the booth price?

No, but it may be arranged at an additional price.  Information is included in your Exhibitor Package mailed with your contract.

Are table and chairs included with the booth?

No, but they may be rented at an additional price from the facilities decorator services.  Information is included in your Exhibitor Package mailed with your contract.

Am I responsible for sales tax?

Yes. Georgia state sales taxes may vary from county to county.  GWF will provide the current rate for each show, but we recommend each exhibitor verify this amount with the Georgia Department of Revenue Sales Tax Department.

Can I drive into the building in order to set up my booth and unload product?

Drive-in is allowed only the day prior to the opening date of the show.  Hand carts must be used opening day and for restocking supply.

Do I have to pay for parking?

No.  Although there are some limitations on parking of trailers and trucks due to space availability, parking is free for exhibitors and attendees.

Where can I park?

Trailers will be parked in a designated area. Vendors with large or heavy products will be directed by the show staff where to park for ease of access.

How and when must I pay for my booth space?

50% deposit must be included with your application to reserve space. The balance is due in full by November 30 prior to the Great Outdoors Show and by June 30 prior to the Buckarama.  Payments not made on schedule will result in forfeiture of the deposit and re-sale of your booth space.   All exhibitors will be held responsible for full payment of all charges for installation of additional furniture or services, regardless of use.
